We proudly present the Tepi “Ratu Ayu” — a truly exceptional piece handcrafted by our senior Balinese artisans. This work embodies deep respect for tradition, precision craftsmanship, and symbolic meaning.

The entire pipe is carved by hand from selected dense black hardwood, shaped with care and intention by master hands. It is decorated with 99% high-purity silver rings and ornamental elements, joined using the traditional piling-piling technique, where natural seeds act as organic solder to bond silver to silver — without glue.

In the “eyes” of the pipe are two deep red garnet stones, while both ends are adorned with silver rings set with high-quality citrine, adding brightness and warmth to the piece.

Every stage — from carving to silver detailing — is completed by hand by multiple senior artisans. This is a rare ceremonial object where tradition, craftsmanship, and spirit meet.

This model exists as a one-of-a-kind piece.

About the name “Ratu Ayu”:
In Balinese tradition, Ratu Ayu represents a revered spirit of noble feminine energy, protection, and sacred strength. The name translates as “Noble Queen” and symbolizes wisdom, balance, and grace. This piece is a dedication to that presence.
